NEBOSH National General Certificate
(NGC) is a valuable qualification for managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisations who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues. Qualified persons will have the ability to manage workplace risks and perform organisational Health & Safety duties effectively. NEBOSH NGC can also be used as a first step towards a career in health and safety and is highly valued by employers as well as being a sound basis for further professional study.
NEBOSH National Construction Certificate
(NCC) is an internationally recognised health and safety award designed specifically for the construction industry, following the format of the National General Certificate above but involving an extra week in the classroom.
The NEBOSH National Construction Certificate is aimed at Supervisors, Managers and CDM co-ordinators within the construction industry who are required to ensure that activities under their control are undertaken safely. It is also likely to prove useful for those concerned with the management of buildings who may need to ensure that contractors are working safely. The qualification is also appropriate for supervisors and managers working in other industries such as utilities, and even broadcasting, where temporary workplaces are a feature of their activities.
